Bersatu's leadership has signalled its determination to mount a comprehensive challenge against PAS, with the party planning to contest upcoming state elections in Johor and Negeri Sembilan under the Perikatan Nasional banner.

Barisan Nasional's top official has expressed confidence that newly formed political parties will not disrupt the coalition's performance in forthcoming state elections in Johor and Negeri Sembilan.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has called on Johor voters to elect leaders with integrity and humility, warning against politicians who exploit racial sentiments. He urged citizens, including those living elsewhere, to vote on July 11.
