National javelin champion Ng Jing Xuan broke the SUKIPT meet record during the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Sports Games, throwing 46.92 metres at Universiti Malaya on National Day. Despite falling short of her national record target, the 22-year-old secured gold for Sunway University.
