Japan Deploys Helicopters as Kalimantan Haze Crisis Deepens Beyond Hazardous Levels
Japan is providing three helicopters, including a Chinook, to assist Indonesia's firefighting efforts as air pollution in Kalimantan reaches hazardous levels exceeding 1,000 on the ISPU scale, with operations set to begin September 10.
