RM14.2 million lost to fires from unsafe device charging in Malaysia over three years
Malaysia's fire department has documented RM14.2 million in property losses from 59 home fires linked to unsafe device charging practices between 2023 and 2025, with Sarawak bearing the heaviest burden at nearly RM9.7 million.
