Over 350 arrested in NSW public transport crackdown as violent crime operation intensifies
NSW Police arrested 356 people during the latest phase of Operation Waratah, a targeted enforcement campaign against violent and sexual offences on public transport. The operation has now resulted in over 1,800 arrests since its establishment in 2024.
