Anwar announces boost to Neighbourhood Watch Areas with 67% increase in annual grant to RM10,000
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has announced a substantial increase in government funding for Malaysia's Neighbourhood Watch Areas, raising annual grants to RM10,000 from the previous RM6,000. The enhanced funding takes effect from January 1, 2027.
