Malaysian Man Held After Smuggling 600 Cartons of Duty-Free Cigarettes into Singapore
Singapore authorities have arrested a 26-year-old Malaysian driver who attempted to smuggle more than 600 cartons of untaxed cigarettes across the border. The contraband was discovered hidden beneath the vehicle's floorboard during a routine checkpoint inspection.
