Argentine Court Convicts Ex-Submarine Commander Over 2017 ARA San Juan Disaster
An Argentine federal court has convicted the former commander of the country's submarine fleet over the 2017 sinking of ARA San Juan, which killed 44 personnel. Claudio Javier Villamide received a suspended three-year sentence for negligence and dereliction of duty.
