Malaysia Climbs to 15th in Global Competitiveness Ranking as Red-Tape Reform Bears Fruit
Malaysia has surged to 15th place in the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking 2026, up from 23rd last year, driven largely by its Bureaucratic Red-Tape Reform programme across government agencies.
