AUKU 1971 Repeal Marks Government Commitment to Student Freedom, Says Deputy Minister
Malaysia's government will repeal the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971, granting students greater democratic freedoms. Deputy Higher Education Minister Adam Adli called it recognition of decades of student activism fighting for the change.
