The Royal Brunei Police Force's Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit arrested two local women during separate enforcement operations on Sunday, June 14, in the Brunei-Muara District. The detentions were part of ongoing efforts to combat illicit activities in the country.
The first raid took place in Kampong Salambigar, where a 39-year-old woman was apprehended from a rented premises on suspicion of engaging in immoral activities. Hours later, officers conducted a second operation in Kampong Lumapas that led to the arrest of a 29-year-old local woman allegedly involved in similar misconduct.
Both suspects have been transferred to the unit's headquarters alongside evidence collected during the raids for questioning and investigation. The Royal Brunei Police Force continues to maintain that tackling vice-related offences remains a priority to uphold social standards and ensure community safety.
